i want some over ear headphones because listening to the radio at work for 8 hours with earbuds is getting kinda annoying.

prefer a good brand like akg or sennheiser but also interested in sony, phillips, etc

I have the Grado Labs SR80 (comes in with the retail box) that I don't use anymore because I've upgraded to the Sennheiser HD600. I'll sell the SR80 for $50. Here's a review:
http://www.goodcans.com/HeadphoneReviews/60vs80.htm

And some user reviews:

You can come by and try it out first if you'd like.

I highly recommend the Shure e2c, or any higher model they have

I listen to my iPod at work all day and the foam sleeves are very comfy, they're just like wearing earplugs with speakers in them. The other earpieces for them arent as comfortable for extended wear though, only the foam ones.

i have a set of sennheiser hd 25s (i think that's the model.. it looks like them) that i may consider selling. they're a couple years old, but barely used. i bought them for use with my dj equip, which i have sold. they're in perfect condition

i also have a set of sony mdr-7506 that need new earpads (available from sony for pretty cheap). these are quite a bit older, but still in excellent condition (other than the earpads)

i would ocnsider selling either set, but havent really been planning on it. make me an offer and i'll sell if i think it's acceptable.
