Beautiful shy adult male mastiff/rottie mix will be gassed at the Franklin Co. Animal Control tomorrow morning (Thurs. 15). There always seems to be a lot of interest in those two types of dogs, so figured he might stand a chance on here. I'd be willing to go with you to get him today if you want to adopt him.

god- thats so fucked up, i wish i knew someone... have you tried looking for rescue agencies or even gone down to petsmart? those people always no sombody looking for a pet or willing to adopt.

No I haven't check with PetSmart. I just wanted to advertise him so the word would spread more than it is already. I did just find out that the rescue I'm working with doesn't have room or money for more until some of the current dogs are adopted. And there's no way my husband would agree to taking in this huge dog or else I'd go get him myself. It's situations like this when I really look forward to having a home with a yard and enough overall space to do more for dogs that suffer at the expense of irresponsible people.

i mean- you could always take him, bring to the SPCA of Raleigh and buy him some more time!
