per my PM, i want to say blackberrys can handle any POP3 account but not IMAP
i'm not a genius on the differences in the two and what would cause that, but i think that may be the issue 6/15/2006 6:14:56 PM |

I just went to a new training class this week on the new BIS 2.0 (blackberry internet solution). My understanding is that YES it can do IMAP accounts with SSL through BIS.
On my 8700c, I only have my gmail (pop3) set up through BIS and my corporate work e-mail through my work's BES. 6/15/2006 8:30:47 PM |

^for someone who doesnt have the slightest idea what SSL is (i remember seeing it as an option), can you break down to basics for me:
1)can i get my ncsu mail to be sent to my blackberry 8700g? 2) if so, how. if not, damnit.
i have the BIS software and installed it on my computer (But not sure how to use it to accomplish this)
your help in this matter is appreciated.
