i stopped answering questions because it's my roomate's and i was waiting on info from him. turns out it isn't working correctly, so sorry guys. it's still for sale if you would like to buy it and fix it. new they were 80 bucks.

Unless you like fixing 35 year old small engines, you should get a new saw (Echo, Husqvarna, or Stihl).
