i saw where you can have your voicemails sent to you via email as a file.
is this file a typical audio file? wav? mp3? what?
we're looking into this so that some of our bosses can leave messages to an individual with a transcription machine. these messages are typically kinda long, and she has a hard time typing them out on the voicemail system on her phone, so we thought that if we can get an audio file off vonage and then use a transcription machine with foot pedals it would be a lot easier...

Why not just use a digital voice recorder? 6/19/2006 10:28:58 AM |

it's a long story, but to get either one of these bosses to do that and be able to deal with getting the file off of it and to us is not feasible.
they are technologically impaired to the point where they might just be allergic. 6/19/2006 10:31:09 AM |

low-quality .wav's, of course...they're not that bad in terms of size...i get them sometimes, and it actually works out well 6/19/2006 12:42:22 PM |

For some reason I thought you could get mp3 too.. or maybe winamp just opens wav's on one of my PC's. 6/19/2006 2:54:21 PM |
