Live running simultaneously with an internet connection to my PC. How can I fix this? I have tried everything I could try, eg. powering up devices in a certain order, hooking up the devices in a certain way - I am just sick and tired of unplugging my internet to play on Xbox Live. Thanks for any suggestions. 6/21/2006 9:43:25 AM |

time warner is only giving you 1 ip address. You can call them and try to get another, but they might charge you.
A router would solve your problem.
Intarweb -> router -> pc&xbox.
router gets the 1 ip from twc. pc and xbox get internal ips from the router. 6/21/2006 9:49:20 AM |

Or you could just enable internet connection sharing on your desktop. 6/21/2006 1:52:31 PM |

No it is not taylor, and I have already consider the shared connection, and I have XP Home and not XP Pro, which allows the shared connection. Besides, I read somewhere that the shared connection could cause lagging sometimes. 6/21/2006 2:10:10 PM |
