My wife just told me that our HD box went out, won't boot. But bypassing the cable box gets us the standard stuff.. is that what you're seeing?

yeah.

the number was busy because it is area wide. they must have gotten flooded with calls. when i finally got through there was a recording about that came up first thing.

My DVR box didn't have the time when I left for work...It was just some random garbage on the panel. I didn't turn the tv on to see if it worked, but I'm sure it didn't.

yeah I have the same thing. cable doesnt work through the box. some numbers flashed like a counter for a while but now there is only "r ----"

man, how fortuitous to see this thread. My HD box was was doing this when I went home for lunch and I thought it was fried. I had tried to reboot several times to no avail.

Wonder what they were doing?
