So this weekend I'm going to Dewey Beach, DE (I live in NYC) 220miles away. Should I leave RIGHT when I get off at work (3:30pm on Friday) and hope to beat "some" traffic or should I wait till around 7pm and then leave? I think I'll get there sooner if I leave around 330, but it could take possibility a lot longer due to traffic leaving the city and the fact that I go all the way down the NJ Turnpike.

things to consider: NJ Turnpike, or taking the GS Pkwy to the Cape May ferry, my clutch pedal, my sanity, and road rage.
