agreed. he isn't ready for the NBA. he ought to stay another year in college, and then try the draft. sure he can block shots, but he has no offensive skill/ability at all. the only great game he had last season was against duke. i would draft justin gray over simmons, and he isn't even projected to go.6/27/2006 9:56:04 PM |

I am confident that Simmons would be a much more developed and complete player if he played a year in Lowe's system. That said, due to the depth of talent at his position, his draft stock is higher this year than it will be next year, even with a very good season. While I'd love to have him back in red and white this year, I don't blame him for staying in the draft as a fringe lottery pick. This is very different that the Josh Powell mistake. 6/28/2006 6:18:28 AM |

The Knicks want a big defensive player
They are at picks 20 and 29, and they want Ced
but he is not going to fall that far

how can you be confident about anything? you've never seen his "system." hell you don't even know what his system is. granted it would probably get Ced more touches, but how can you talk about "Lowe's system"6/28/2006 10:02:18 AM |

I think this is a good pick.
Everything Roy is, we already have in Gerald Wallace.
We needed a scorer, and he is the best out there.

The thing about draft analysis is that your experts better understand the dynamics of both levels. Some got it. Some don't. I don't think Dick does.
I sure as crap don't. I've never been able to care all that much about the NBA. 6/28/2006 7:55:04 PM |

i think the bobcats are still one more year away from fielding a playoff caliber team, which is evident by bernie keeping himself as coach. after this coming season, they'll probably make a splash in the FA market and bring in a proven SG. right now though, wallace can probably play the role defensively and let morrison do the scoring 6/28/2006 7:56:48 PM |
joerrad All American 3075 Posts user info edit post |
well they just scored the cover of nba live 07. im assuming that pushes gwallace to SG.
PG Felton/Brevin SG Wallace/Carrol SF Morrison/Wallace PF Okafor/May C Primoz/Ely
putting Wallace on the opposing SG should work out, or on whoever the scorer on the opposite team may be (SG or SF). seems like Morrison and Wallace are similar but then again they have alot of differences. I hope they bring back Brevin next year. one more year to Oden 6/28/2006 7:58:01 PM |

i dont mind this pick... at least we'll be a more exciting team.. i still think Gay will be a player but im okay with morrison i guess...
We did lose a shitload of games late cause we didnt have a go-to guy..
i think we can win 35 games next year with this roster... then add a 6th man in the draft next year and sign a stud free agent and we're a playoff team. 6/28/2006 8:11:54 PM |
