the amount of hit you take has more to do with the current value of the tv - not how much you paid for it btw

i highly doubt you can get the 55" for under 1500 anywhere.

This is a good tv, I have had mine for a while and like it.

This TV is incredible. I own this exact model and HD through it is stunning. Highly recommended...and it's really lightweight too.

Also, the 55" version is the A20. The A20 blows (IMO) because there's *NO VGA INPUT*, so hooking up an HTPC becomes more complicated. A10's FTW.
