i guess ill just have to retire it to a desktop and buy a new cheap computer for taking to classes because they wanted $899 to fix the lcd which cracked all by itself...any word?

I had no clue how to install it, but then I read the manual I downloaded for it at hp.com and it showed me how to install my 100$ 15" laptop screen I got off Ebay.



I encourage you to do the same.

i have a ibm t43p model 2668-76u

the lcd is a LCD panel SXGA+

the part number for the lcd is 92P6737

i found this place that sells that exact screen for $415

so i ended up buying the same lcd but a different manufacturer (hydis) for $260 from blisscomputers.com...installation took about a half hour since i had never done it before but all is well and it works great...
