Ok, this actually happened to a friend (a girl), but I'm gonna say I did this cause ppl aren't gonna believe me. I accedentily deleted my AIM buddy list and I need to know how to get it back (the whole buddy list). I know that they store them on an AIM server, but I think they delete them if you delete them locally. Can anyone give me any advice? (yes i have searched google). 6/29/2006 9:03:27 PM |

same thing happened to me. start over...it hurts at first not being able to check 300 away messages but its for the better. you'll get rid of all the deadweight and only have true/current friends on your buddy list. 6/29/2006 11:29:20 PM |

Install another aim client and see if it autofetches your old list. If not you can try going to the website and seeing if it's there... otherwise you are SOL. I'm betting it's already updated all over their database. GL though. 6/30/2006 9:19:03 AM |

^or try using http://meebo.com, the first time I signed on, it was pulling up people's screennames that i had deleted a few years ago. 6/30/2006 10:57:37 AM |
