i'm setting up a wireless router at my g/f's place (Belkin 802.11b) and it sets up perfectly for when there is no encryption. however, when i put a WEP password on it and try to access the network, it takes a long time to connect and when it does it says there is limited connectivity. now i dont understand this because even when i do a repair it still doesnt work. there is no updated firmware as i've checked. what could be the problem with the encryption? 6/30/2006 2:38:22 PM |

Are you using Windows wireless? If you are, 95% sure that's your problem. Download whatever the actual software is for your wireless card and use it instead. 7/1/2006 8:10:52 AM |

You sure you have the key correct? That's exactly what happens when you use an incorrect key. Doublecheck that and see if it's correct. 7/1/2006 10:18:59 PM |
