synopsis:

just had the roadrunner people out yesterday to set up service. at present both of my computers can connect directly to the internet through the cable modem but the "pc activity" light on the modem doesn't even come on when i put the router in the mix

i've checked the router and it can't pull an ip from the modem - sugguestions?

His the "reset" button and go back through the setup

unplug everything.
plug in modem
plug in router
turn on computers

let us know if that doesn't work.
