Alright, I'm moving to Maryland, I've purchased a new car. Right now I have a truck and a boat that I'm going to offload. Posting it here is an extreme long shot but I figure I might as well.

I purchased this truck to tow this boat so I figure I might as well try to sell them as a package deal. although I would sell each seperately it just makes sense to me to group them.

Truck:
2001 F150. SuperCab 5.4L v8 260hp 350ft/lbs tq. 50k miles 2wd automatic Towing package, Mp3 player with a custom sub box under rear bench seat. A couple covered paint chips on front corner panels next to hood. interior is in great shape. exterior has no major dents, just a few scratches here and there.

Boat:
1986 bayliner Capri 19' bowrider. (no hour meter, estimated 400hours) Volvo penta aq131c 120hp engine with a penta 275outdrive. The engine was overhauled last summer and got new: sparkplugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel pump, waterpump, timing belt battery and trim control electronics AND propellor. The carburator was cleaned and the thermostat was dissabled. The interior is in REALLY good shape for a 20year old boat, there are only 2 minor punctures in the vinyl and no rips. My family purchased this boat new in 1986 and didn't use it much, it sat covered under a shed for 7years before I finally took it. The best thing about this boat is that the engine is straight out of a 1986 volvo 244, so there is NO computer and you can get 70% of the parts at the car store and teh rest are easy to find at boatpartsexpress.com

I'm looking for $15000 obo

I've got a Bayliner exactly like that for $100. The trailer is worth saving(lost title), but the boat just needs to be sunk somewhere. I guess you could put an engine back on it if you felt the urge.

^It's a Bayliner. That's the catch. It's one boat that's on the top of my don't-buy-it list.

this bayliner has been cared for... restored... and hasn't given me ANY problems after replacing the stuff that was just plain old... its got a VOLVO I/O in it... which are totally bullet proof...
I'll agree that bayliners aren't all that great expecially with outboards... but the volvo engines are legendary and this one is hella easy to work on.

I gotta agree on the I/O...Volvo Penta fours are great stern drives.

individually I'm looking for ~$3500 obo for the boat (its worth roughly that to me personally considering I know exactly what condition its in and what it will cost to replace it with what I want and NADA for this boat with the options(stereo bimini tops) is about right) and $13000 for the truck... but I figure if I can offload both at the same time I'd entertain offers for $15k

[Edited on July 4, 2006 at 12:24 AM. Reason : those are NADA/KBB values]

uh yeah... thats the type of bayliner that people are picking on ...

I wouldn't take a 2000 bayliner with an outboard (unless it was a yamaha 100hp+ then I'd sell the engine scrap the boat and buy what I want (mid 90's mastercraft/nautique))

kbb on the truck with the options you listed is 10550 private party.

Also unfortunately have to keep in mind truck prices are plummeting down, especially newer models.
