I'm interested too (sorry to piggyback ya). How much would it be to do a 94 Pontiac Bonneville?

Thanks in advance.

Oh I need to figure this out too.

I am thinking about getting my boyfriend's 2005 Mustang convertible tinted for a gift.

How much for that?

thread ain't ended yet...I know TVP does nice work, but I'm not payin $200 to get my car tinted when it's 12 years old, and that's what TVP said they'd charge to do my car.

Well, recently I got my windows tinted and pretty much how they charged me was how many windows and how difficult it will be? They mentioned something that some hatchbacks they charged more for. Mine was easy to do. I got the best tinting and they just charged me $220 flat for 4 door windows, rear window, and front window strip. And it is guaranteed for life.

$200 for good tint is pretty reasonable. What kind of car is it?

There is a place off of South Saunders, coming from State take 40 towards exit 297a, and then take the right at the BP, and then there is a garage on your left, it looks kinda shady, small, but the guy does a good job, my friend got his Lexus IS done for 160, and another friend witha mazda 6 got it done for same.

2 things to consider for tinting are legal tint percentages and fading issues. I paid about $275 from a highly regarding tinting company in Detroit (Sunshade) and they gave me a 100% lifetime warranty on the tints. They included a titanium layer that protected from fading. 3 years later my tints went from black to purple.

Another issue is the legal shit because you can't get your inspection passed if darker than a certain level. I'm not sure what it is now but I believe its around 30%.

I used to get my tint passed by a guy in Monroe...he'd charge me an extra $10, but I'm not sure about here...

tint fades if they use poor materials or if you attempt to clean your windows w/ ammonia clear(windex)... anyway people are asking about tint: the guy I use, uses Llumer film, lifetime warranty, and charges around $200 depending on the vehicle and tint you want to use...

passing inspection with illegal tint will not get you out of a ticket, it will just get you and the place that passed it in more trouble. and they have been cracking down on illegal tint lately.
