I was recently given a T22 Thinkpad and after upgrading the RAM and reformatting with XP it's not a bad little laptop. The issue I am having is with the battery. When I disconnect it from the power it shows full battery, about 20 minutes later, with virtually no warning it goes into Hibernate mode. Is there some driver that helps monitor the battery better. FYI - previous owner says she rarely ran it off the battery, it was mostly plugged in on a desk. 7/13/2006 11:41:47 AM |

batteries aren't expected to last that long anway, that's gotta be a 5 year old laptop
thinkpad batteries generally come with a 1-year warranty regardless of the warranty on the rest of the laptop 7/13/2006 7:25:11 PM |
