Since ECE492F was dropped I decided to add this course on nanoelectronics. Has anyone taken it? If so, what are your thoughts about it?

I took it last year.if you have taken 404, its not too bad, but definately a whole lot of material.if you havent taken 404, its ridiculously fast paced and very difficult.the class is usually very small (~15 people), so much teacher attention is possible. The class is structured such that she teaches off of a powerpoint at the speed of light. Was probably the most time intensive class ive ever taken at state, but i can honestly say its the class where i learned the most. Youve really gotta make sure that you study your notes and stuff every night, or else youll fall behind and wont catch up.our test grade distrobutions were like this9989656260484740201515my suggestion would be to take it.the most interesting material in the ece offerings.shes very good with office hours, and going to talk to her about the course material is crucial in understanding the material. i wish i had spent much more time in her office than trying to figure it out on my own.[Edited on July 14, 2006 at 12:48 PM. i had her for ece 211 (a long time ago and i think her first undergrad class). she was challenging as hell but fair too. i told her i would take all my ece courses with her if possible. one of the few ece professors i respect, not that it means a lot... pilgrimshoes is right, she will make you learn.
