Anyone know about these...
My company recently emptied out storage areas and we had a supply of 5 DTC's that as far as I can tell are in mint condition, were in sealed individually boxed (I had to cut them open to see what was inside), with power cords, manuals, diagnostic cables, commscope network cables, async cables, and mounting accessories. I believe these were kept in case our clients needed replacements, but the calls never came.
Refurbished DTC's can easily run over $1000 and that is without any accessories.

We have a ton of these at work that make up a library computer lab. They just boot into a Windows XP interface and then we just have them remote desktop into a server and perform everything. Works pretty well. I couldn't imagine using one without doing it through a terminal server though. These things are painfully slow.
I'm pretty sure you should be able to get a decent amount for them if you find the right buyer. 7/15/2006 9:19:07 PM |

Let me know if your work would like to buy any!!
I emailed a few companies that sell these... I'll probably go onto ebay with them. And hope the right buyer comes along. 7/16/2006 2:06:29 PM |

bump for any more info/interested buyers.
I got an offer for $100 each from a retailer... But then they sell them for 1200 and without all the accesssories... I doubt I'll sell... but if nothing else comes up I may have to. 7/19/2006 1:17:26 PM |
