They really are, very tough and lightweight. Honestly, they are incredibly sharp. For cutting rope or anything, it is amazing, half serrated classic spyderco style and straight razor edge on the other half. Great knife, thanks for the bids but i need a little more for it.... if not ill hang on to it. ANy body else, we are at 16 right now.
