LOCK YOUR SHIT UP. my buddy's nikhel's bike got jacked 2-3 weeks ago, he lives at intersection of gorman and avent ferry, and my buddy's nates and his roommate's bikes got jacked last night from u-suites. so lock it up, they pieces of shit running around stealing bikes like no tomorrow. btw, keep your eyes out, nikhels bike is a 2000 honda cbr 929, yellow, nate's bike is a 2003 honda cbr 949, red, and his roommate had a 2001 yamaha yzf 1000, blue.

True story: when I was working at Clayton Auto Parts and we were on wrecker rotation, Clayton PD called us to come pick up a bunch of shit. Basically a bunch of Mexicans were running a chop shop outta their house. A neighbor had called the cops after seeing them push a bike in the house. Turned out to be a kid's bike from Durham.

The rest? several CBR1000's in various states of disassembly, parts scattered all over the house. Parts from other various bikes.

And we found a Honda Accord totally stripped behind some sheets of plywood under the shelter out back.

This was about 8 years ago.

Its 500-600 bucks, you can install it on pretty much any bike. If it gets stolen, you call it in, the Police turn on the lojack device, and they can generally recover it within an hour or two.

It uses a combination of GPS, GSM and RF signals to pinpoint.

There are also about 10 other manufacterers out there, but LoJack is the law enforcement supported one for almost everywhere, with other services/products youd have to call a representative or pinpoint the bike yourself and then call the popo

NATE GOT HIS BIKE BACK YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

so the story is: 2 nights ago some dumb shit tried to run from a state trooper, hit a car, flew into a house, and managed to take off on foot and got away. something tells me that cops didn't even bother to chase him since they thought, yea, we got his bike, well it turned out it's nate's bike, the shits painted it black, took off his two brothers label off the pipe, and took off his GPR streering damper, and after the shit wrecked it, the whole front fairing is destroyed, and scratches on the main fairings, i haven't seen the bike myself yet but he says the forks and wheel look fine (after hittin a car and a house????????).

btw, ya'll think cops took prints off the bike? do they do shit like that, and if they did, i wonder what's the chance they'll find something on a bike, i mean do prints stick good and stay on in outdoor conditions, etc, plus it was raining. but i hope they catch that fuck

that thing was slower than a scion tc i raced once. when i owned the bike i told myself he must have a sc on it. now that i think about it nah. he took me from a roll ever so slightly, probz bc we were going 80+ and the hawk wasnt good up there. although i took him from a stop bad.
