I have a Windows 2000 Domain. My sister's computer is running Windows XP. Is it possible for her domain user account to have administrative privileges on her machine? i.e. she needs to have regular user access on all the other domain computers, but she needs to be able to intall software / hardware / drivers / patches / etc. on her own computer.

Right now she can do that by logging off and then logging back in as the local administrator account.

yes

all you gotta do is add the domain account in the list of local superusers.
