He seems to be doing a good job moderating. His moderating skills however cannot reach their full potential in chit-chat by virtue of chit-chat being chit-chat and not really needing lots of thread locking/moving/deleting.

If he was chit-chat + lounge mod he could move silly threads that are not worthy of the lounge to chit-chat.
