Colby is a possible border collie mix, guessed to be 10 yrs old. He's currently undergoing heartworm treatment and would love a great permanent home to go to either during (if his new parents take him to the rest of his appointments) or after his treatment.

Colby is extremely affectionate and loves nothing more than to be near you. He would prefer to be a lap dog if he wasn't 45lbs

He's house- and crate-trained, up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed. He loves other dogs and people, but seems a little too curious about cats so I don't know how well he'd adapt to living with one.

If you would like to provide Colby a loving home there is an adoption fee of $60 and a home visit to ensure a good home. He's a great dog, if only someone would give an older dog a chance. Please spread the word!

^^Yep, but that thread had A LOT of posts from myself with updates on his condition and such as I went from the initial taking him in from where he was abandoned, to his neuter, to his heartworm treatment, etc. So I created a new thread so people wouldn't be intimidated by all the words.

I'll be getting new pics of Colby posted tonight.
