what is wrong with defining marriage as it has been defined traditionally? the government should uphold tradition, not attempt to legislate a new agenda. what they do in their own home is their business, but why should we all be expected to support and condone it?

If there are benefits given to people who are married then it is totally wrong to deny people who want to be married just because it is with someone of the same sex.
