i have a motorola phone that can receive and send text messages. i currently have a text that has a clock right beside the evolope thing, and it says i have to download it to read it. but when i try, it says cant download, try again later. says its 64kb and expires in about a week. how do i open this, cause its fairly important

Did you purchase the text message service? I know with Verizon you don't have to purchase the text message program, but you pay 10 cents to recieve messages and 25 cents to send text messages. Try to enable "auto-download". If no success, then call customer service.
