I'm trying to sell my Chinese Water Dragon. I got him in February after the one I got for Christmas died. My mom surprised me on Christmas eve with a little guy. I had no idea what it was or what to do with it, but here I was, in possession of a lizard, terrarium, food, lights, the works. So when the one died, since I had all the stuff for one, I bought another one (they're about $40 at PetSmart), but now I have a new dog and he's taking up all my time so my lizard isn't getting any attention. So, check out the link to learn more about them and let me know if anyone wants him and all of his stuff. Here's a rundown of what I have:

A Chinese Water Dragon, late adolescent/early adult, unsure of gender
Aquarium (I just used the last of the extra bedding I have, so you would have to get reptile moss and pine bark for the bedding) with a thermometer and hydrometer
A food dish
A water dish
A tree for climbing
A heatlamp with lightbulb
A spray bottle for misting the cage
A cricket home
Cricket food (2 jars about 3/4 full)
Half a jar of freeze-dried crickets (I switched to these so I wouldn't have to buy crickets and take care of them, etc)
probably other stuff I'm forgetting.

Seeing as how just the aquarium and materials costs a pretty penny, I'm going to have to ask for at least $50-60 (we probably spent $200 on just the aquarium and all that and the cricket stuff and food)

I'm going to have to go with "no," the lizard alone costs more than that.

^^ok first of all, you just called my mom an idiot which really doesn't want to make me sell this lizard to you. second of all, just because you don't buy it directly from the store, doesn't mean you can pay peanuts for it, unless I had said "give me an offer," which I'm pretty sure I didn't. I gave a starting price.

^I'm not sure exactly the gallon size (this is my first aquarium), but I think it's a 10 gallon (?). It's 20" X 13" X 10".

^^^ if that's the worst that happens to you on this site, count yourself lucky...that said, it's still dumb to buy animals like that from a pet store...the act is still dumb even if it stems from ignorance...also, i suggest you learn quickly that starting price on HERE doesn't mean jack...nobody cares what YOU think your stuff is worth

had i bothered to see that you're a girl, i probably wouldn't have said any of this (sad, isn't it?)

worry not, though, as i don't really want one...i just figure if no one buys him, i KNOW for a fact that he'll get good care from me, so it was worth a tiny bid

urge - i know that eventually you will need to upgrade to a bigger aquarium, but for now he's fine in the size he has...

HUR - see what I wrote 2 posts before yours...

PACKFAN - the "small mammals" it refers to are small mice (I think they're called pinky mice) which the adults can eat, either live or frozen (I think)...

also, don't take just my link for info, google "chinese water dragon" to find out more...

PM me for real interests/offers...
