What are the best sections to get seats in at Daytona International Speedway? Some friends and I are considering making the trip in February next year, and I'd like to know if anyone here has been and what their experiences are. So far, the options are Turn 4 in Oldfield, Turn 2 Rows 1-20, Superstretch between 2 and 3 in either Allison or Lund, or Turn 1 in Lockhart. They're all pretty much the same price, give or take $10, so I'd like to sit somewhere good. 8/8/2006 8:23:59 PM |

well the best seats at any track are on the front stretch but you'll have to pay alot more. ive been to charlotte for races 4 times and have always been on the front stretch right past the start finish line. i dont know about daytona but ive heard that unless youre really far up in the stands that you cant see the whole track. but it being a restrictor plate race and the cars are always bunched up it may not matter too much where you sit. hope this helps and have fun. thats something i wanna do before i die...that and the bristol night race 8/8/2006 8:40:33 PM |

I'd rather go to Bristol than Daytona personally, but my sister is moving to Orlando and would be a convenient place to stay over the race weekend.
I'll try to get tickets to Bristol next year. 8/8/2006 8:45:31 PM |

I have tickets to the night race at Bristol and I've been to Richmond, Charlotte, Rockingham, and Darlington, none of these places can compare to the lap by lap excitement at bristol 8/8/2006 8:50:45 PM |

Everyone bitches about Rockingham losing a race, but they forget that Rockingham had really shitty racing there. 8/8/2006 9:58:14 PM |

rockingham didnt have shitty racing...it just wasnt entertaining for the average fan. i remember watching the kurt busch/ricky craven finish. i may be wrong but its like the 3rd closest finish in modern history. for the fan who knows how hard the cars are to drive and stuff the racing there was great....it was def. not as boring and california and indy and las vegas but it wasnt as entertaining as daytona/dega/bristol 8/8/2006 10:16:18 PM |

Well, one of the races in Rockingham went to California (or Texas?). They have shitty races and only sell about half the seats.
There is no bad seat at Bristol. I was there in the spring for the Busch race (where they had a delay b/c of snow). It was great. 8/8/2006 11:00:48 PM |
