I heard about the iranian people boycotting western goods (especially soda because it evidently is the all encompassing evil that is our society). I have no corroborating evidence for you though.

Apparently ZamZam Cola (Iranian) is flying off the shelf! OMFG FREEMARKET!

Kidding aside, the boycott could be having the intended effect. Evidently, demand for Arab owned/produced goods and services has shot up, which means at least a temporary windfall to the Iranian economy. If effective, it's a pretty clever way to distract the Iranian public.
