i'm just now introducing myself to the new world of sli. i have 2 CRT old school 21" monitors that i run regular shit on, and i know how to switch to SLI, but there HAS to be an easy way to switch from single VG to SLI and switch back without having to do all kinds of shit. so wheres the hack? plz tell me

VG? do you mean VGA? if so that has nothing to do with SLI. If you mean switching between dual monitor non-SLI and single monitor SLI then its as simiple as disableing it in you nVidia console.

assuming you mean switch in and out of these two modes:

SLI-enabled single monitor
-and-
SLI-diabled dual monitor

then

yeah, i agree. it is kind of a pain in the ass. sry.
