Okay, I'll bite.

I may be unable to prove it false, but this is a moot point. I do not have to disprove that a kettle circles the sun, because of a little something called "burden of proof." If you say that a kettle circles the sun, then you must submit evidence that supports this claim. Failure to do does not necessarily disprove the theory ("absence of evidence is not evidence of absence"), but good luck getting anybody (who is rational) to believe you.

where is your physical evidence to prove it to be false.

my evidence for a teapot circling the sun comes from generations and generations of stories about said tea pot

At what distance does this teapot circle the sun? How large is the teapot? What does it look like?

What do these "generations and generations of stories" say? Do they give any indication as to what time of year the kettle can be viewed or observed? Which part of the sky? Written accounts are a good start, but there needs to be a way to confirm what they say.

Actually, I need to be careful when I say that a written account is a good start. How old are these stories? Were they re-translated or altered as they were passed down?

The teapot cannot be viewed at all

because #1 it is small

#2 it is close to the sun

#3 Because it is always rotating around the sun on the opposite side the earth is on.

These generations and generations of stories were originally written in greek and have been translated into english.

If the teapot is orbitting opposite to earth, then how is its existence known? How did the Greeks decide that there is a teapot at all if they could not see it?

None of these prevent it from being measured with current or at least future technology.

The teapot will be able to be measured at some point in time.

Impossible.

For a teapot to orbit the sun at the same rate of the earth (1/365.25 days), its orbit would have to be extremely far out, and very slow. The mass of a teapot is sufficiently small that at that radius, it would likely be carried off by some other interstellar object.

It would be impossible for a teapot to orbit the sun on the opposite side of the earth, without being equipped with boosters of some sort.

(note: physics in this post may be inaccurate )

nope

the teapot is no aided and does rotate close to the sun

^^the fact remains that plenty of things can happen in the future. But as of now, you cannot prove it is not there.

Actually, the teapot's orbit would be so close that it would probably just burn up then.

Then it's a magical teapot, and there's no point discussing it. A magical teapot can do whatever the heck you want it to.

The fact is that we can't build a teapot to do what you describe, without it being magical in some way.

"the teapot is no aided and does rotate close to the sun"
and
"#3 Because it is always rotating around the sun on the opposite side the earth is on."
cannot both be true. Scientists have already proven that an objects rate of orbit is proportional to its distance from the sun. Therefore, if it is close to the sun it must orbit the sun much more frequently than the Earth. If this is so, then even our primitive technology could detect it by detecting the light shift as it moved between the sun and the Earth.

Of course, scientists have already proven that an object the size of a teapot has a very large surface to mass ratio, which would make it susceptible to varying solar winds which would quickly push it out of orbit.

Therefore, scientifically speaking, if a tea pot did exist it does not anymore. If it does exist, it will not do so for very long.

FroshKiller: Hi. You're probably new to the Wolf Web. In fact,
I'm willing to bet you're new to college in general. It's an exciting time, isn't
it? I'm sure that you have been exposed to many ideas and perspectives you'd never
realized existed, and you're just bursting with enthusiasm at the thought of sharing
a few ideas of your own with your peers now that you find yourself in an academic
environment that seems perfectly suited to such an exchange.

Why don't we go a little further? Odds are you consider yourself very intelligent.
In fact, you're probably so intelligent that you've figured out all the quirks and
kinks of organized religion--or at least Christianity. Yeah, that's it, isn't it?
You were probably raised in a Christian household and resent that upbringing for
limiting your personal freedoms, so it's only natural that you'd seek to undermine
Christ's teachings and save others from having such a faulty belief system for their
own good. Pretty cool of you, isn't it? You've really got it together.

FUCK YOU YOU STUPID FUCKING FAGGOT COLLEGE KID

LET ME TELL YOU A SECRET

NONE OF YOUR THOUGHTS ON RELIGION ARE RADICAL OR EVEN THOUGHT-PROVOKING

IT'S NO SECRET YOU GOT THEM OFF A FUCKING WEBSITE

WE'VE ALL READ THE PROSELYTIZER QUESTIONNAIRE TOO

NOTHING YOU CAN SAY IS GOING TO LEND A FRESH OUTLOOK

DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND

THAT FOR SEVERAL FUCKING CENTURIES NOW

SOME OF THE MOST EDUCATED PEOPLE IN THE ANNALS OF HUMAN HISTORY

HAVE DEVOTED THEIR LIVES TO ANSWERING DEEPER THEOLOGICAL CONCERNS

THAN YOUR PETTY BULLSHIT

ABOUT THE DISCREPANCIES IN THE GENEALOGIES OF CHRIST IN THE GOSPELS?

I MEAN

HOLY FUCK

DO YOU THINK YOU'RE THE ONLY COCKSUCKER WHO EVER NOTICED THAT OR SOMETHING?!

WAKE THE FUCK UP

YOU'RE STILL JUST A STUPID KID

AND WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO DO IS SHAMEFUL

INCONSIDERATE

AND DISRESPECTFUL

BECAUSE MAYBE YOU'RE TOO MUCH OF A PUSSY

TO LIVE ACCORDING TO A STRICT MORAL CODE

AND MAYBE YOU'RE TOO MUCH OF A PUSSY

TO ACTUALLY TRY AND DEVELOP A STRONG, HONORABLE CHARACTER

BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT RIGHT

FOR YOU TO ATTACK MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF PEOPLE

NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU TRY TO PLAY THE VICTIM

TALKING ABOUT HOW THEY "FORCE THEIR BELIEFS" ON YOU

BY HANDING OUT A FUCKING PAMPHLET

I MEAN HOLY FUCKING CHRIST

WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO DO IS TEN TIMES WORSE

GET OVER YOURSELF ALREADY

THIS REBELLION AGAINST MOMMY AND DADDY ISN'T IMPRESSING ANYONE

WE'VE SEEN IT BEFORE

YOU ARE NOT THE FIRST

YOU ARE NOT EVEN REMARKABLE

STOP ARGUING WITH GARY

HE IS MAKING A FOOL OF YOU

I SWEAR UPON THE BODY AND BLOOD OF THE PIERCED FUCKING JEW KING

THAT IF YOU PULL THIS SALISBURYBOY, SYLVERSHADOW KIND OF SHIT ON ME

YOU WORTHLESS WICCAN PANTYSTAIN

I WILL SPLIT THE TENDER TISSUES OF YOUR WEEPING ASSHOLE

WITH A HARDCOVER EDITION OF THE NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION

OF THE HOLY FUCKING BIBLE

YOU THINK YOU'RE SO FUCKING SMART

I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU DO THE SAME SHIT WITH ANY RELIGION

BESIDES CHRISTIANITY OR JUDAISM

WITH SOME BOOK BESIDES THE BIBLE OR THE TORAH

YOU AIDS-FELCHING CUM FLAKE

SO PUT THAT IN YOUR FUCKING PIPE YOU JUST BOUGHT FROM BUDDHA'S BELLY

THE FIRST WEEKEND YOU WERE UP HERE

AND SMOKE IT

in 1977 we sent a probe to the other side of the sun to collect data on the teapot that was theorized to be there

it was never heard from again

recent theories surround the idea that the teapot has defensive capabilities
