Anyone taken CSC 236 through distance ed? I just signed up for it, and got the Distance Ed information, and was told to go to the section under distance ed where the InfoFACTs are, so I did. Well, that lead to the programming certificate webpage, so I navigated that, and was told to click on the course webpage, well, there isn't one for 236. So what happens basically? Do I just go rent some DVDs, or can I watch the lectures via the Intarweb? Is there not some instruction sheet for this shit somewhere? Its like "ok, you are registered for this class, if you can figure out how to actually take it, you pass" 8/18/2006 12:54:29 AM |

The CSC236-601 web site is now active.
Go to: http://courses.ncsu.edu/csc236/ Then select the distance section ... CSC236-601. That will get you to the distance web site ... http://courses.ncsu.edu/csc234/lec/601/
The two distance sections CSC234 and CSC236 share a web site.
There is a button titled ... "To start the class ... click here". That should get you started.
All the lectures are online. One of the red buttons on the left will get you access.
If you enrolled over the weekend, you may have limited access until Monday.
If you have any problems ... contact csc236-sup@wolfware.ncsu.edu
More general information will be sent to the class early this week. 8/19/2006 7:45:03 AM |
