Have this problem on more than one system...basically if you click a link for a website in Outlook for example, it will not open Internet Explorer to the link...if I manually open a copy of IE and then click the link, the links will work...any ideas why it doesn't automatically open? 8/18/2006 9:28:20 AM |

yes, and the box "Internet Explorer should check to see whether its the default browser" is checked as well
and i believe the two systems having this issue dont have Firefox, Netscape or any other browsers installed on them 8/18/2006 9:37:07 AM |

try looking around here maybe
1. Open Explorer (just open My Documents) 2. Select Tools and then Folder Options 3. Select the File Types tab 4. Selection Extension: (NONE), File Type: HyperText Transfer Protocol
maybe something to do with DDE under the advanced section
also File Type: Hyper Text Transfer Protocol with Privacy
