Ok, I'm trying to remember the name of this guy that was a backup for the Raiders in the mid to late 90's. He was from High Point Andrews and played against my dad in HS quite a bit. Seems like he was around 40 when he actually got a start, on MNF of all places. Anyone have any clue what his name was?
And while we're on it, Steve DeBerg was the man.

ty determ, did he start for mroe than 2 or 3 seasons. You got to admit, backup QB would be an excellent job. Make 2 mil and play 40 snaps a season with no injury to the first string of course. 8/19/2006 4:29:38 PM |

(but seriously, it's Vince Evans, I actually remember that MNF game fairly well, it was the first time I saw a black QB not named Moon or Cunningham on TV) 8/21/2006 1:46:28 AM |
