I have a Linksys router but this should be the same.
Steps:
1) check what your default gateway is (click start --> run --> cmd --> ipconfig) 2) Copy down the Default Gateway address xxx.xx.x.x 3) Open EI and type in http://xxx.xx.x.x 4) Password window will pop up, just press ok since its blank. 5) Go into setup and make necessary changes.
If this doesn't work, let us know and I am sure someone with a similar router will help 8/19/2006 8:31:22 PM |

192.168.0.1
login with default as listed in the manual (admin for the username, password is blank, I think)
click "tools" tab at the top
type whatever you want for the admin password, then type it again to confirm.
click apply
router may reboot and you'll have to log in again.
192.168.0.1
enter user and pass you just changed
click on "wireless" tab on left side
change SSID to whatever you want to call your wireless broadcast. 8/19/2006 9:08:15 PM |
