so, my dad has 1994 and 1992 mazda miatas. He sometimes races them in autocross races, but now hes gettin old and hardly does it at all anymore.
a few days ago he picked up a new miata sport, 6 spd, not bad at all. they made them bigger, put nice big wheels and tires, and redesignedalot of it.
im not a huge fan of miatas, but this new one isnt too shabby!

I think it's comfy, but it still doesn't have enough headroom for me with the top up. My head just barely touches one of the support bars for the convertible top. I probably have 5"+ of headroom in my S2000.

6'3" 195lbs and its impossible for me to let the clutch out without taking off the door in the old ones. (and i know lots of people with this problem) also my legs are folded up around the wheel and my feet dont have much room to move around. the new ones i am actually able to drive.

Hmmm...well I'm 185. I haven't sat in an older Miata in ages, but don't recall not fitting.

Maybe I have a very long torso and short legs

I was against them making a folding hardtop Miata, until I realized it only adds like 70lbs, lol.
