if you like the show because of it's "character development" then you're an idiot

all in all there's been less than 10 good episodes over the last two seasons

and all the relevant information to the story of the show can probably be summed up in maybe 3 episodes

lost is the the only show that i know that week in, week out disappoints its viewers

the producers have created a show that can be summed up into three 1-hour long episodes, the first and last episode of each season are the only shows worth watching. these episodes will actually use all 60 mins to accomplish something. the other "filler" episodes will have 10 mins of worth-while information, then 50 mins of some retarded flashbacks or dialogue between two secondary characters that just makes you wish you could fast-forward through it

at least now, by breaking up the season into two chunks it might force some sort of change. if it doesnt, we will at least see less reruns, which btw was retarded

Watched the first on DVD. Was nice and quick.

Watched 2nd on TV. Slower, but was nice to be able to discuss the theories with others.

I can't wait for Season 3 of this and BSG.

the only reason people watch it is because of it's mystery

and because that's the only thing people watch it for, they're going to do everything they can not to let you in on the secret

because once they do, the show's over

how about the season starting with the triumvirate of jack, kate, and sawyer all by their lonesomes separated from the rest of the group? the show will actually have to focus on the same three characters (the three faces that are really best for ratings) at least once per show; that should help with its continuity as far as i'm concerned

on a side note, i could bet that abrams and co. didn't originally plan to have sawyer be as major of a character as he's become, but their audience wanted/demanded it
