Is Hillary waking up and smelling the coffee- that her slam-dunk electability is in question? Her "Swift-Boaters" are waiting with baited breath.

But why would she even allow rumours out that she may not run? What would be gained?

She's running. But for the Democratic Party's sake, she needs to lose in the primaries.

To Both Parties: Run a moderate. You will win.

This would be the smartest political calculus out of the Democratic wing of Congress in almost a decade...

This may be the first thing Hillary Clinton has ever done that I agree with

(of course its sarcasm, I agree with plenty of the wiffle ball votes they have in the senate on occasion)

^^^ the right is 100x as dirty as the left. even in primaries.

how do democrats nail their own? they show pics of the president kissing you.

what does the right do? start calling operations telling people you have a black baby, and gave away government secrets while being held prisoner in vietnam.

Perhaps..but do you think 2012 is enough time for a political face-lift...to hide the fact that she is a raving evil socialist?

I know that moderates wont make it to the election because they have to go through the primaries, but if one did, they would win. Americans like people in the middle. A little bit of left and a little bit of right, without being a zealot.

I suppose I could've been clearer. I think that by 2012 she'll need a real facelift, which would mean daggers to her presidential aspirations. I was referring more to the idea of her remaining in the senate, and moving into a leadership role when Reid steps down.

Reid didn't sound too eager to step down. Maybe Hillary will have to have him commit suicide.

she can run for president, if she loses, she still has her Senate seat, and she can become majority minority leader...also, if she somehow wins, the Spedzer(sp) the soon to be new governor of NY will appoint a Dem to take her place
