So I want to make my right one the main one to load programs and what not. Of course when I do that, the spanning wallpapers don't display properly. Anyway to get that changed?

depends. what brand video card do you have, and did you double-check the Advanced settings for it? ATI and nVidia have their own ways of managing multiple displays, and sometimes they suck.

if it's an ATI card, you'd have to hit the Advanced Settings button, and look for some tabs with the ATI logo. One of them will likely be something like Displays or Monitors. See what that says.

ah, you changed it to use as primary monitor

but yea, i know that much.......but i want the programs to load on the right monitor.......so naturally it's the primary monitor......but in that case the 3200x1200 background doesn't display properly

you might want to look at finding a third-party app to do what you're looking for, then. i think there are some things out there that will let you target which monitor is used to open new windows.

yeah it's a nice piece of software but most people don't use it for anything beyond the wallpaper and taskbar (and even the taskbar is a big MAYBE)

^^ & ^ yea, right now I'm just using it for the wallpaper. the taskbar COULD come in handy, but right now it's kind of annoying for some things

taskbar & hotkeys like "move window to next monitor" make it worthwhile.
