I have a 2000 Ford Mustang 3.8L (V6) that I need to sell because I just bought a Jeep. I do not have pictures right now, maybe soon, or come see it if you're interested. Send me a pm. Specs below:

~95k miles
Gold paint with triple black racing stripes, grey/black interior in good condition
Manual transmission
AM/FM/Cassette/SingleCD
Mach 460 Premium Sound System (4 6x10's and two 4 inchers, each 6x10 individually amp'ed)
Power seats, power doors (driver's side needs looking at), power and auto windows
Window tint
Custom true-dual exhaust cat-back, muffler eliminators, flowmasters available, very LOUD!

The new stuff:
New tires (< 5k miles)
New brakes (< 3k miles)
New rear gears (< 3k miles)
New battery and new terminals (< 3k miles)
Fresh R134a, really cold A/C

The iffy stuff:
Custom alarm system has not worked for about 1 year. Strongly suspect its a wiring issue as the unit is in fine shape and no fuses blown. Factory system still attached, needs to be re-enabled if used. Remotes may/may not be available.
Custom alarm system may have caused driver's side power door lock to stop functioning. Passenger side still functions and operates both locks when pressed.
Broken weld on drivers' side exhaust pipe makes "dinging" sound when idling. You can fix, I can fix, whatever... I have the materials.
Driver's side seat is a little squeaky.
Driver's side floor board is worn near gas pedal.
Lamps could use sandblasting.
Cannot locate squaeky bearing when starting, only lasts for <5 seconds. Has been doing this for 2 years without incident.
Normal body wear (a few scratches, small chips on bumbers)

Price is $4700 and everything is in good working condition. Mechanically, the car is good shape. PM me with any more questions.

Gas mileage is reported at 19 mpg in town, and I normally get 290-300 miles to a 15 gallon tank. I drive a lot, combined highway and town, and those numbers average out to 20 mpg.

On an average trip to Gastonia taking 64 to 49 to I85, I burn about 5 gallons. Taking that route, driving at avg 50 mph, averages nearly to 30 mpg. I recommend driving that way for anyone that needs to go west in state.

Comparable sized cars (with smaller engines) typically get 25 mpg in town, so you're right about it guzzling gas (to some extent) However, this cars rating is pretty average when compared to other "pony cars:" firebirds, thunderbirds, trans ams, camaros.

yeah, i got an average of about 30mpg for trips on my 95 v6...topped out at 34mpg going to winston-salen from raleigh, with an average speed of about 90mph

I drove my 01 v6 mustang to phoenix in June, got around 30mpg, I get around 23 in city. damn was hoping i could get more for mine if i sold it though, 4700 is low.

I've seen this car in wolf village before. Great looking car, good deal IMO. Someone should jump on this.

Regarding the gas mileage question, I have a 2001 v6 and usually average 23 mpg mixed city/hwy. My last long hwy trip I hit 29mpg. They're pretty good on gas
