Elsinore Technologies (http://www.elsitech.com) has an opening for a part time Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The position requires 20+ hours/week in person at the office near North Hills mall.
The primary responsibilities involve creating test plans, establishing an automated testing infrastructure, creating automated tests, and performing manual tests.
Required Skills: - 1-2 years object oriented programming in C#, VB.NET, Java, or C++ - knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL - knowledge of Microsoft client and server operating systems
Preferred Skills: - C# - C++ - SQL Server - familiarity with unit testing frameworks - familiarity with software test suites
Compensation commensurate with experience.

thats also kinda true... you never know. i know that if i had seen something similar to this in my area back when i was still looking, though, i would have been all over it. half-time could easily mean 3/4 time, and that could easily turn into full time. but i guess i shouldnt be chit chatting in here if im not asking about the job. haha good luck 9/12/2006 11:54:19 PM |
