I don't think it was a dumb bet, and I still ended up for the weekend, so it didnt matter too much thank god. ND at GT, first game of the season, #2 team vs an unranked team. I will take the #2 team, no matter who they are -7 ALL DAY LONG. And if their fucking kicker didnt suck, they would have covered, but oh well.

^^^ I just thought GT was a bad matchup for ND. Just one of those games that wasn't going to go like it technically should (like an NCSU playing FSU). GT having the most unpredictable QB in CFB (can be the best and worst in the conference on any given day) and a game-breaking WR is enough to make them a team not worth putting money on or against. Don't get me wrong, I see your point on the #2/-7 but against GT, specifically, in the first game is just one I would pass on (not bet the other way or anything).
