This a benefit or not?
We have time to figure out what works and what doesnt.(so do other teams, but it seems we would need the time to get our act together more so than others)
Unlike Other teams who will rack up an ACC loss this week, our first possible loss will be the 4th week.

As I said in the other thread, this game will not hurt us if we play at our capable level the rest of the season. 9/9/2006 6:34:07 PM |

its fine guys. we got upset. there were alot of questionable calls and bounces but in the end we got the short end of the stick. look on the brightside. we lost with a good passing game. that was our biggest worry.
now when we get andre back we will have an ok offense. akorn played a perfect game. their qb turned into dan marino at the end. if we played akron 3 more times we would be 3-1.
our center is out and our 2nd string played hurt- that explains the 2 bad snaps
pass interference in the endzone- ok refs
stones interception was not his faultston played a great game and made alot of plays when there was nothing. he reminded me of #17 at times. wrs dropped many
our offense was rolling in the 4th with andre brown out and no running game. we have an upside. 9/9/2006 7:27:25 PM |

^^our fucking receiver CAUGHT the pass. and lost it when he got hit. i didnt find out it wasnt a fumble until i got home. stone was the man(in the 2nd half at least) and i was the main one dogging him last week. 9/9/2006 7:31:15 PM |

i wouldn't go that far. but he looked much improved from before. He actually stayed in the pocket most of the time this game.
I think once he completed a few of the downfield ones he got some confidence and the wr's got some and it started working. It damn well shouldn't have been that their defense was tired, since they were hardly ever on the field.9/9/2006 8:16:48 PM |

That sounds familiar. Hopefully they can figure out how to get their act together in the first half also.9/9/2006 8:22:54 PM |

stone did good in the first half too tonight. It just seems as though our recievers can only catch in the second half (today at least). Stone hit a couple recievers in the numbers and they dropped them 9/9/2006 8:29:25 PM |

And what is that? You struggle against ASU, and lose to Akron. So what is your "capable level"?9/9/2006 9:11:45 PM |

the playcalling also changed in the 4th quarter when we got desperate. all of our passes were screens and swings until we got that 2nd and 32. then all of a sudden norm chow was in the box. 9/9/2006 9:18:50 PM |

saying you are about to score from the "40" is a little cocky for wolfpack fans... so be careful. 10/1/2006 9:13:57 PM |
