Looking to get a set of used (within 5 years old) Callaway golf clubs for ladies. Seems rare around here.

I've already searched: Second Swing and craigslist.
I've also looked on ebay, but would prefer picking up locally.

Any other places?

try golf galaxy... they carry some used clubs and always have really good specials going on new ones!

you specifically want callaway? what is your reasoning behind this? have you hit a certain set and like them?

^my instructor recommended them (big bertha or x series), and I've been borrowing them to practice, i don't know much about difference in clubs...so i figure callaway, why not. i'm not good enough to know the difference, but want to get a decent set since i'm determined to be playing for awhile

i just called the 3 play it again sports....they don't have much of a selection.

on another note, is there any place that lets you rent golf clubs? not just to hit at their range but like rent a week to try out?

some courses...but by the round, not week.....just buy some cheap clubs...you dont need callaway name brand, especially if you are just starting. there are comparable clubs much cheaper.

a set of callaway golf clubs is gonna cost a lot and since you are just starting out i would recommend just getting a cheap set to learn with, you won't know the difference. Golf Galaxy has a couple sets for around $100 that includes everything you need to get started, I would recommend that!

i'm excited to report i got a slightly used set of irons off ebay...can't wait to get them in this week
i got a bag at golf galaxy..i like that place, great selection pretty decent prices....

so now i'm in the market for a ladies driver and putter...anyone?
