you obviously missed the game but they got killed on 3 pass interference calls.
-the refs missed one in the endzone by auburn early in the game. it was a blatant arm grab that would have gave lsu the ball on the 2
-they got called for a fake one
-the reffs reversed the pass interferance because the ball was tipped (the ball was tipped after the wr was hit) on 4th down 9/16/2006 7:42:24 PM |

well what about the other 2? if you dont pull down the wrs hadn before the ball gets there or give lsu the ball first and goal on the 2 and that is a td. even the announcers agreed with me on both of these other 2.
3 calls in a 7-3 game is a BIG BIG difference. this clearly cost lsu the game. clear as day. 9/16/2006 7:47:39 PM |

nah dude he is right
LSU got absolutely fucked on a lot of calls.
I) When they caught a pass and it was ruled a completion then fumble.... however they then overturned it and made it incomplete. This was a correct ruling, however... later in the game the same situation applied to Auburn when a receiver was popped and lost control of the ball and they ruled it a catch.
2) LSU was interfered with in the end zone. The defender had his back to the QB and was molesting the receiver. Cut and dry call, shoulda been made.
3) Auburn was not interfered with on the interception. On 3rd and 29 you can NOT call pass interference and not only reverse the INT but give them an automatic first down. The ball was a prayer, underthrown, uncatchable, and barely any contact was made. HORRIBLE and gutless call.
4) LSU was clearly interfered with at the end. If you have been making no calls all game, fine. But you dont give pass interference to one team on 3rd and 29, and then look the other way on two legit pass interference calls (both of them huge) for the other team.
LSU was robbed.
Although their QB is an IDIOT for 1) taking the sack with 50 seconds left and leaving them no time to score
2) passing the ball in the middle of the field with 14 seconds left on a 4 yard pass.
3) not throwing the ball INTO the endzone on the final play.. 9/16/2006 7:53:47 PM |
