I've seen him at an entire season's worth of practices too, every single day, and he can throw some balls.
I've been saying he should get a shot for 2 years now. I support Evans for starter 100%. 9/17/2006 1:59:13 AM |

i haven't seen any practices, but if you say he can throw it longer than 5 yards i'm down. whatever buys time until the burke/beck shootout for the job next year. 9/17/2006 2:11:32 AM |

I think the only way to get people to show up for the BC game is to come out tomorrow and say Evans is starting.
I could give a fuck about this game, but I might give two fucks if Evans starts. Stone has had 9 games to prove himself and hasnt done shit.
Its along the same lines as getting a new basketball coach. We're going to suck, but its going to be exciting to see something different.

Quote : | "NC State football coach Chuck Amato said Sunday that sophomore wide receiver Darrell Blackman had an MRI on his sprained knee Sunday afternoon and will know the results by Monday morning.
Blackman, one of the nation’s premier kickoff returners and one of the Wolfapck’s most versatile offensive weapons, hurt his knee on the opening kickoff of Saturday night’s 37-17 loss at Southern Mississippi and did not return to the game.
Amato also said he and his coaches would meet Monday morning to discuss any potential personnel changes, for Saturday's ACC opener against Boston College. The Wolfpack (1-2) face the undefeated Eagles (3-0) at 8 p.m. Saturday at Carter-Finley Stadium, a game that will be televised on ESPN2.
“We just got done with the film probably 40 minutes ago: offense, defense and kicking,” Amato said in his Sunday evening teleconference with reporters. “We will talk personnel first thing Monday morning. And when any changes in any personnel are made, we will make them then and we will talk to our players before we do anything, whether it is a defensive end or right tackle or whatever.”
“We feel that is the way it should be done.”
Amato also praised the play of redshirt sophomore quarterback Daniel Evans, who led the Wolfpack on a second-half scoring drive and completed eight of his 11 passes for 97 yards. He had a 21-yard touchdown pass to John Dunlap in the fourth quarter.
“The first time he was in, Southern Miss still had several starters still in the game,” Amato said. “He did quite a few good things, we all saw that. He got his feet wet, which is good, and he did some good things, that is for sure.”" |

he can't be any worse than stone. I mean we have lost to fucking Akron and Southern Miss. If you think those games were ugly I can't imagine what ACC play will bring. It's a good thing we don't play duke this year b/c they actually might beat us. Do you know how pathetic that would be? I am worried about the ECU game considering the beat Memphis this weekend 9/18/2006 2:47:13 PM |

"Marcus could not have been any better. He came up and hugged me afterwards. I told him that I couldn't have done it without him behind me [in the depth chart]. He was behind me 100% [in the depth chart]. I really could not have played this game without Marcus behind me [in the depth chart]. He did a great job giving me tips and pointers [from his clipboard]." 9/24/2006 8:32:54 AM |
