OK so on my expense report, I can put whether I paid for an Item or if I used the company Credit Card

Is there a way that I can write a function that subtracts what is on the company card from what I paid for in the total?

=SUM(M11:M25)- IF(C=AMEX) is the idea

can this be done?

look up the SUMIF function

yeah

excel has a nice function help feature if you click the fx next to the formula bar

ok qntmfred's equation didnt quite do it, but it got Help to figure out what i was up to
