pretty nifty - but i think there should be some option to do multiple batteries per usb port - shouldn't have to use a hub 9/20/2006 3:04:23 PM |

My only question is: Why? What advantage does this have over standard recharging hubs that plug into the wall. Plus, the one battery per port thing seems like an inefficient use of space. I just don't see the point. I'll group this with the cell phone watch on the list of nifty, but unpractical ideas. 9/20/2006 3:08:15 PM |

that's cool and all...
but

That doesn't make it real pratical if you're in a rush....I'll stick to my energizers with the 15 minute recharge.9/20/2006 3:39:36 PM |

i guess i see this as better for people that travel as lightly as possible - or in the instance that you are without your battery charger (anytime you aren't home pretty much) - but you could always just carry extra batteries 9/20/2006 3:41:44 PM |

But, that means you'd have to carry a computer + power cord (or some device that has USB ports and can plug into the wall)... 9/20/2006 4:57:02 PM |

i too am disappointed by this:

i just rather use (2) 2500mah NiMH batteries than waste money on (4) 1300mah batteries that take 5 hours to recharge...
and i'm not sure if you've seen wall chargers recently, but they're hardly cumbersome and fairly easy to travel with...

i usually travel with my laptop, which is why this is neat. and over here in sweden my room only has two outlets so my various electronics are always competing for electricity. 9/21/2006 8:11:05 AM |
