We as fans have got to give a lot of credit to Marcus Stone.

Had he just been a real person and beaten those three shitty non conference teams we would have still had him starting and would have lost all our ACC games (including the UNC game).

By taking one for the team and throwing the ball into the dirt for three consecutive games he left Chuck no option but to start the QB who doesn't suck total knutesac.

Good going Marcus, the epitome of a team player.

Dear Marcus,

Please stop hugging Evans and trying to get your disease on him.

Thanks!

Because Davis wanted to show off against 1AA teams and run the score up.

If that was Stone on that last play, would of been a interception or not come close to anyone

Exactly.

Even against EKU last year, when his fumble gave up the only TD of the game.

daniel evans...the new marcus stone. Stone was 6-1 as a starter until the last 2 losses...now Evans gets his turn

not even close

evans can throw downfield

it is already 100x better than stone because it opens up the defense for the run

^^except I'd say Stone single handedly won us 0 games.

Evans...while the D held nice at the end, and we averaged 6.1 on the ground...definately won that game for us, without a doubt.

did you watch the fucking game at all? evans looks like a qb, he moves well in the pocket and makes smart plays and thats exactly what we need to run a west coast offense.

and he still has lots of time to get even better and more secure

stone was panicky in the pocket and made rushed insecure plays

yeah, watch BC be our only ACC win....still doesnt look too promising of a season no mater who is the QB.

i have faith now that they are capable of a level of play that can beat unc, wake forest, and virginia....whether they do it or not, i dont know, but prior to yesterday, i didnt think they could do it at all.

evans had a good game and it turned out to be an AMAZING game overall, but he has some work to do still. a lot of his passes weren't where they should've been (still better than stone's).

either way, great win, hope we can keep it up. i just hope this single win doesn't secure chuck for another 4 years.

read your post wrong?

it's our fault?

you obviously shouldn't have called him the next marcus stone.

Yeah, it isn't "his" starting record to lean on - why you people choose to give Stone ownership of a 5-1 finish last season is beyond me
