My laptop uses 200 pin pc2700 it is a toshiba satellite 2405 and I need 256mb, if that will work I will buy it!!!!

i can't remember but i don't think the RAM is 200 pin, 186 maybe? i do not remember the specifics of PC2100 and PC 2700

DDR SDRAM memory has 184 pins, where as SDRAM has 168 pins. Laptop RAM has 200 pins.

Laptop RAM != Desktop RAM.

It won't work in your toshiba. You need SODIMM packages.
